Narrative:

The paperwork for the gear changes (X nose and Y for the main) is not clear what you are signing for. An FAA agent was there and he was asked and he was having problems as well; determining what was being stamped for as well. This could lead to something being missed or someone stamping for something that they did not do or witness. It is under his advice that I make this report as he said that other job cards are messed up as well.

Title: MECHANIC REPORTS HOW THE B737-400 PAPERWORK FOR THE NOSE AND MAIN LANDING GEAR CHANGES ARE NOT CLEAR IN DETERMINING WHAT MECHANICS ARE SIGNING FOR.

Narrative: THE PAPERWORK FOR THE GEAR CHANGES (X NOSE AND Y FOR THE MAIN) IS NOT CLR WHAT YOU ARE SIGNING FOR. AN FAA AGENT WAS THERE AND HE WAS ASKED AND HE WAS HAVING PROBS AS WELL; DETERMINING WHAT WAS BEING STAMPED FOR AS WELL. THIS COULD LEAD TO SOMETHING BEING MISSED OR SOMEONE STAMPING FOR SOMETHING THAT THEY DID NOT DO OR WITNESS. IT IS UNDER HIS ADVICE THAT I MAKE THIS RPT AS HE SAID THAT OTHER JOB CARDS ARE MESSED UP AS WELL.
