Narrative:

ZZZ gates do not have clear red engine safety zones. One has a ground air hose 'tray' bolted to the ground inside the red engine safety zone; but the hose is loose. This is a 'fixed' gate (jetway doesn't move) which greatly increases the likelihood of having to increase power on #1 engine for precise positioning of aircraft. The other gate is worse. This is also a 'fixed' gate; but both the hose and the ground air hose 'tray' are not bolted to the ground. So at this gate; both the loose hose and the tray (on wheels; no less) is well inside the red engine safety zone. I'm not just talking about the regular safety zone that has to be clear before entering. This is the red engine safety zone with loose items inside (one on wheels). If the ground air hose cannot be repositioned outside the red engine safety zone; these gates should not be designated as gate services gates.

Narrative: ZZZ GATES DO NOT HAVE CLR RED ENG SAFETY ZONES. ONE HAS A GND AIR HOSE 'TRAY' BOLTED TO THE GND INSIDE THE RED ENG SAFETY ZONE; BUT THE HOSE IS LOOSE. THIS IS A 'FIXED' GATE (JETWAY DOESN'T MOVE) WHICH GREATLY INCREASES THE LIKELIHOOD OF HAVING TO INCREASE PWR ON #1 ENG FOR PRECISE POSITIONING OF ACFT. THE OTHER GATE IS WORSE.
