Narrative:

While being vectored to runway 17C; we were reassigned runway 18R and cleared for the approach. We were also given the current winds that included a gust factor that was not on the ATIS. Approach failed to hand us off to tower. While changing runways in the FMS and recalculating the landing speeds; we failed to notice. We switched to tower on the rollout and caught his taxi instructions. After switching over to ground; we asked if tower needed us to call them. The answer was; 'no.' workload and the rough conditions distraction us from noticing that we failed to switch to tower.
