Narrative:

Prior to beginning of my shift; ZZZ1 maintenance found an airbus with abs cross wired. A plan was put into action to inspect all system that have been worked on in the air carrier system. Maintenance came up with a maintenance display item to reflect the work needing to be done. Aircraft X was sent a clean maintenance release; departing without the inspection. The maintenance release was; therefore; incorrect. Illegal maintenance release.

Title: DISPATCH REPORTS ON MAINT FINDING AN AIRBUS A320 WITH A CROSS WIRED MAIN LNDG GEAR BRAKE ANTI-SKID SYSTEM. ACFT WAS ISSUED A CLEAN MAINT RELEASE FOR FLIGHT; EVEN THOUGH THE REQUIRED RII INSPECTION OF THE SYSTEM WAS NOT ACCOMPLISHED.

Narrative: PRIOR TO BEGINNING OF MY SHIFT; ZZZ1 MAINT FOUND AN AIRBUS WITH ABS CROSS WIRED. A PLAN WAS PUT INTO ACTION TO INSPECT ALL SYS THAT HAVE BEEN WORKED ON IN THE ACR SYS. MAINT CAME UP WITH A MAINT DISPLAY ITEM TO REFLECT THE WORK NEEDING TO BE DONE. ACFT X WAS SENT A CLEAN MAINT RELEASE; DEPARTING WITHOUT THE INSPECTION. THE MAINT RELEASE WAS; THEREFORE; INCORRECT. ILLEGAL MAINT RELEASE.
