Narrative:
While removing and replacing aircraft X nose tires; I didn't realize the washers were missing when I removed the tires and I installed new tires without them. The tires have been replaced and new washers have been installed. I assumed the tires had been installed correctly the previous time they were changed; not realizing that the washers were missing.
