Narrative:
Received EICAS 'message landing gear monitor.' talked to maintenance over ACARS. They indicated might only be a door problem. I chose to err to worst case scenario and called for maintenance to have them meet us on the runway to pin gear after landing. Landed uneventful; stopped on runway; pinned gear; taxied to gate.

Narrative: RECEIVED EICAS 'MESSAGE LNDG GEAR MONITOR.' TALKED TO MAINT OVER ACARS. THEY INDICATED MIGHT ONLY BE A DOOR PROB. I CHOSE TO ERR TO WORST CASE SCENARIO AND CALLED FOR MAINT TO HAVE THEM MEET US ON THE RWY TO PIN GEAR AFTER LNDG. LANDED UNEVENTFUL; STOPPED ON RWY; PINNED GEAR; TAXIED TO GATE.
