Narrative:

We filed the bluegrass eight departure with direct mys after chcll. The pre departure clearance 'cleared as filed' said bluegrass eight with iiu transition and we did not catch this; and therefore; we flew over mys and not over iiu; as filed. ATC asked about this and we said we were cleared over mys which was not correct. No other aircraft were in the area. Obviously we should have both checked and noticed that the pre departure clearance clearance was different than our filed route.

Title: ACR CAPT REPORTS MISREADING PDC FROM CVG AS BLGRS8 CHCLL DIRECT MYS; INSTEAD OF ACTUAL BLGRS8 IIU AS FILED.

Narrative: WE FILED THE BLUEGRASS EIGHT DEP WITH DIRECT MYS AFTER CHCLL. THE PDC 'CLEARED AS FILED' SAID BLUEGRASS EIGHT WITH IIU TRANSITION AND WE DID NOT CATCH THIS; AND THEREFORE; WE FLEW OVER MYS AND NOT OVER IIU; AS FILED. ATC ASKED ABOUT THIS AND WE SAID WE WERE CLEARED OVER MYS WHICH WAS NOT CORRECT. NO OTHER ACFT WERE IN THE AREA. OBVIOUSLY WE SHOULD HAVE BOTH CHKED AND NOTICED THAT THE PDC CLEARANCE WAS DIFFERENT THAN OUR FILED RTE.
