Narrative:

After completing flaps up after landing flow; aircraft was taxied northeast on taxiway; captain smelled something hot and first officer flipped on chart light and noticed traces of smoke. The first flight attendant called and stated there was smoke in the cabin. First officer communicated with the first flight attendant while the situation was being assessed. The first flight attendant stated the smoke was coming from 'all the gaspers' and not a single point. The captain called for the emergency equipment and parked aircraft abeam the fire station. Once the aircraft was stopped and prior to fire command arriving on scene; the smoke rapidly dissipated. The first officer opened the cockpit door for further assessment. The cabin was clear of smoke. Fire command offered 2 options: 1) board aircraft through L1 and assess. 2) expedite taxi to gate; board through jetway and assess. Captain choose option 2. Fire command boarded aircraft and gave the all clear. Normal procedures followed for passenger deplaning.
