Narrative:

On a visual approach both master caution lights and both 'a' system hydraulic low pressure lights illuminated. Hydraulic quantity reading was zero. We broke off the approach and ran the checklist. After completing the checklist and talking with the appropriate people we made an uneventful landing or runway 8R. Company towed us from runway to gate. Emergency declared with ATC.
