Narrative:

I was changing a main engine fuel pump on #2 engine on aircraft X. The maintenance manual had a note to replace the drive seal since the pump was already off. I took the old drive seal out and put the new drive seal in; however; I neglected to put the o-ring on the new seal. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated after he replaced the engine fuel pump; fuel was found leaking from the fuel pump drain line during the engine run. The fuel pump was removed and the missing o-ring was installed. No further problems occurred.
