Narrative:

When taking off from ZZZ airport to the east; I reached my go/no-go point and aborted the takeoff. As the plane slowed; it drifted right due to soft snow. The right wing contacted a tree/brush when taxiing and maneuvering to depart in the other direction. From the pilot's seat a visual inspection showed nothing more than scuff marks on the underside of the right wingtip. The controls were checked for free and full movement; I lined the plane with the runway and departed to the west. At destination I unloaded a few items and then looked at the wingtip and that is when I saw that the aileron was damaged. Contributing factors were not exiting the plane with the intent of investigating the extent of the damage. To prevent this is any time the aircraft contacts or is suspected of contact with anything; even of the slightest degree; inspect the damage closely.
