Narrative:

About 2 hours into our flight from ZZZ to ZZZ1; the right engine rolled back slowly and flamed out at FL360. Engine failure recall items and checklist were completed. We declared an emergency; asked for a lower altitude; and sent a message to the dispatcher. Once in the restart regime; a restart was attempted but was unsuccessful. A divert was made into ZZZ2. After landing; the airplane was externally checked by emergency crew after which the airplane was parked. I contacted the duty pilot by phone; made a logbook entry; included an engine flameout report; and secured the airplane.
