Narrative:

Climbing through 19000 ft; an amber ECAM 'engine 1 hydraulic pump low pressure' illuminated. Captain accomplished the ECAM and turned the pump off. Ptu was functioning properly. Log history of aircraft showed a chronic write-up of leaking yellow system; as well as a recently replaced ptu. Decision to divert to ZZZ was made by the captain and myself. Overweight landing was accomplished uneventfully in ZZZ. We were approximately 1000 pounds overweight. Landing was very smooth.
