Narrative:

Day #1: uneventful. Very poor WX arriving into ZZZ3. Day #2: delayed several hours. Trip canceled and was to fly to ZZZ with a deadhead to ZZZ1. Crew schedule tried to reassign us over the ACARS. When we got to ZZZ very late; our schedule showed a return to ZZZ3 after 3 more hours sitting in ZZZ. I asked the chief pilot on call if I could come off the trip to help my sick wife with 2 small kids at home; already told her I was done; since the trip had actually been canceled. Chief said couldn't find a replacement with the poor manning going on at our airline. So I respectfully agreed and stayed on the trip. We sat around ZZZ and tried to nap. Flew back to ZZZ3 late. Got to ZZZ3 very early body clock time. Waited about 20 mins on the hotel van. Got to the room by the elevator; very little sleep. I woke up every time someone came to catch elevator. Day #3: by now; crew schedule reassigned us to fly to ZZZ4 and then deadhead to ZZZ1. So; now my sick wife would wait even longer; because this got me back much later than the original sequence. 2 hour wait for departure to ZZZ4. Finally left and then was vectored; slowed; and rerted several times. Now the WX was getting extremely bad. Being very tired; rerted; in holding with a 40 min efc time; we had no real ETA from ATC about when we even might be able to head toward ZZZ1. Gas running low; we diverted to ZZZ1. During the diversion we both realized how exhausted we were. Called fatigued on arrival in ZZZ1. Captain did an excellent job and was a great coordinator and made an excellent decision to divert as the WX in the ZZZ1 area extending all the way to ZZZ area was getting worse and closer. Supplemental information from acn 769275: we were both mentally exhausted from 2 holds; 6 rertes; every departure being delayed for 2 days totaling almost 8 hours; 4 reassigns; and a lack of rest the night before; that we were fatigued. Because of this; I had scheduling locate a fresh captain and first officer as we departed the ZZZ mess. We both remained at the aircraft for safety reasons until the new captain arrived.

Title: B767-300 FLT CREW EXPERIENCED NUMEROUS DELAYS AND REASSIGNMENTS. AFTER LNDG AT THE ALTERNATE ON THE THIRD DAY OF THEIR TRIP; THE FLT CREW CALLED IN FATIGUED.

Narrative: DAY #1: UNEVENTFUL. VERY POOR WX ARRIVING INTO ZZZ3. DAY #2: DELAYED SEVERAL HRS. TRIP CANCELED AND WAS TO FLY TO ZZZ WITH A DEADHEAD TO ZZZ1. CREW SCHEDULE TRIED TO REASSIGN US OVER THE ACARS. WHEN WE GOT TO ZZZ VERY LATE; OUR SCHEDULE SHOWED A RETURN TO ZZZ3 AFTER 3 MORE HRS SITTING IN ZZZ. I ASKED THE CHIEF PLT ON CALL IF I COULD COME OFF THE TRIP TO HELP MY SICK WIFE WITH 2 SMALL KIDS AT HOME; ALREADY TOLD HER I WAS DONE; SINCE THE TRIP HAD ACTUALLY BEEN CANCELED. 2 HR WAIT FOR DEP TO ZZZ4. CALLED FATIGUED ON ARR IN ZZZ1. CAPT DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND WAS A GREAT COORDINATOR AND MADE AN EXCELLENT DECISION TO DIVERT AS THE WX IN THE ZZZ1 AREA EXTENDING ALL THE WAY TO ZZZ AREA WAS GETTING WORSE AND CLOSER. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 769275: WE WERE BOTH MENTALLY EXHAUSTED FROM 2 HOLDS; 6 RERTES; EVERY DEP BEING DELAYED FOR 2 DAYS TOTALING ALMOST 8 HRS; 4 REASSIGNS; AND A LACK OF REST THE NIGHT BEFORE; THAT WE WERE FATIGUED. BECAUSE OF THIS; I HAD SCHEDULING LOCATE A FRESH CAPT AND FO AS WE DEPARTED THE ZZZ MESS. WE BOTH REMAINED AT THE ACFT FOR SAFETY REASONS UNTIL THE NEW CAPT ARRIVED.
