Narrative:

Snow showers moving through area prior to departure. Decided to deice type 1 to ensure aircraft is clean. Pushed back to deice. Deice crew deiced aircraft and left the area. We asked for deice numbers. The agent driving tug and talking to us didn't understand what we wanted. We told him we needed type fluid; temperature; freeze point etc. He said it was 50/50 and he didn't know the temperature. We asked him to get the person who deiced the aircraft. That person showed up and said the temperature was 15 degrees or at least it was 15 degrees when they showed up this morning. He then left. We tried calling operations; but we don't have an operations frequency listed. We called the deicer back; explained we needed all the numbers and the 15 degrees for fluid freeze point didn't make sense. We had to ask for each individual item. Start point; time; for temperature he now gave us -30 degrees which made sense. We departed uneventfully. Train crews on deice procedures.
