Narrative:
Arrival over chesterfield on STAR came from overseas. Flight plan information on stars shows this aircraft as a B757; but he was actually a heavy B757. Arrs from overseas that are inbound to charlotte; for some reason do not show when they are heavy B757 in the stars information. The controller at clt caught this when pilot said 'heavy;' but there was nothing to reflect the airplane's 'heavy' status in the automated information clt receives. This could result in a wake turbulence situation.
