Narrative:

The aircraft was on final approach on the ILS runway 4R approach to boston logan at approximately 2.5 mi and 800 ft when tower advised everyone on frequency that there was a large ship in the harbor with an unknown mast ht. The approach plate calls for the decision altitude to be raised from 250 ft to 350 ft when a large ship is in the harbor. The PNF (first officer) confirmed this alternation with the PF; and accordingly the 'minimums' were adjusted. At decision altitude a missed approach was executed adhering to air carrier X profiles and headings and altitudes assigned by tower.
