Narrative:

Log #XXX air return due leading edge slat assembly problem for landing. Troubleshooting system found l-hand slat torque tube (disconnected) at slat drive unit. Tech at ZZZ re-connected and performed operations check with no faults. After being informed of aircraft X air return; which happened approximately 2 months ago; my first memory is that verifying safeties on torque tube screws is my 'pet peeve.' thinking back on this aircraft I can recall verifying safeties on the torque tubes.
