Narrative:

Called to post a NOTAM for the aerobatic practice area at gcm. Was on hold 5-10 mins gave up and called fort worth flight service; talked to a mr B. He said he would post NOTAM. Flew over to gcm flew 2 acrobatic flts from surface to about 2500 ft AGL. Later found out NOTAM was never issued. As a result I am at risk of a violation. Previously flight service had issued a NOTAM for the aerobatic area as parachute area with skydivers; which caused center to send an IFR aircraft to hold for a period of time while center tried to contact the jump plane that didn't exist. Flight service should take the issuance of these NOTAMS seriously.
