Narrative:

During preflight; I noticed some sort of broken glass sticking out of bottom of the P62 and P63 panels on the nose gear. A maintenance ACARS was sent; and it was cleared on a new maintenance release. It said that the glass debris had been removed. The loading bridge had been removed from the aircraft; so we could not inspect it. We flew it to ZZZ1. The next morning we had the same aircraft to ZZZ2. During preflight; the same broken glass was observed in the same place as the previous flight. Upon closer inspection; it was fairly obvious that no work had been done on this discrepancy. It was improperly cleared on the maintenance release. We wrote it up again. Contract maintenance opened up both panels and removed several pieces of broken glass. The involved maintenance personnel could not be located concerning this report.
