Narrative:
Macon FSS 123.65 is OTS. It has been 1 week since it worked last. Since the contractor has taken over; they do not answer landlines; frequencys; and when people cancel at satellite airports; it's gotten so bad we tell them to call our facility on the phone to get down times because mcn FSS is not doing their job. Also; we have problems with flight plans not being put in correctly and then we controllers have to fix it. We especially have problems with them not putting in stero-flight even though we have an LOA with them. Sometimes when the aircraft wants the stero-flight plan and wait too long; they get their phone call forward to st petersburg FSS and they do not understand stero-flight plans.

Narrative: MACON FSS 123.65 IS OTS. IT HAS BEEN 1 WK SINCE IT WORKED LAST. SINCE THE CONTRACTOR HAS TAKEN OVER; THEY DO NOT ANSWER LANDLINES; FREQS; AND WHEN PEOPLE CANCEL AT SATELLITE ARPTS; IT'S GOTTEN SO BAD WE TELL THEM TO CALL OUR FACILITY ON THE PHONE TO GET DOWN TIMES BECAUSE MCN FSS IS NOT DOING THEIR JOB. ALSO; WE HAVE PROBS WITH FLT PLANS NOT BEING PUT IN CORRECTLY AND THEN WE CTLRS HAVE TO FIX IT. WE ESPECIALLY HAVE PROBS WITH THEM NOT PUTTING IN STERO-FLT EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE AN LOA WITH THEM. SOMETIMES WHEN THE ACFT WANTS THE STERO-FLT PLAN AND WAIT TOO LONG; THEY GET THEIR PHONE CALL FORWARD TO ST PETERSBURG FSS AND THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND STERO-FLT PLANS.
