Narrative:

Departing dfw we were assigned the TRISS2 departure. All departure waypoints were checked including shero. Due to WX at dfw; we were assigned an initial 130 degree heading. Subsequently we were cleared direct triss. When direct triss was selected and executed; the following waypoint shero disappeared from the legs page. After triss the aircraft started to head for txk bypassing shero. ATC cleared us direct txk. No traffic conflict occurred. The controller mentioned that shero waypoint had dropped out in the past and he was seeing it happen again.
