Narrative:

We were flying to ZZZ. I was the PNF and the first officer was the PF. ZZZ approach control told us to expect ILS runway 17L; then they changed our runway to expect ILS runway 18R. In the process of switching localizer frequencies and approach charts; we inadvertently flew through the runway 18R final approach course. There was an aircraft approaching final to runway 17L at this point. We did not get an RA and I later asked tower if there was any separation loss and they replied no. In the future; I will be much quicker about switching localizer frequencies and maintaining situational awareness. Always maintain situational awareness and anticipate approach and runway changes.

Narrative: WE WERE FLYING TO ZZZ. I WAS THE PNF AND THE FO WAS THE PF. ZZZ APCH CTL TOLD US TO EXPECT ILS RWY 17L; THEN THEY CHANGED OUR RWY TO EXPECT ILS RWY 18R. IN THE PROCESS OF SWITCHING LOC FREQUENCIES AND APCH CHARTS; WE INADVERTENTLY FLEW THROUGH THE RWY 18R FINAL APCH COURSE. THERE WAS AN ACFT APCHING FINAL TO RWY 17L AT THIS POINT. IN THE FUTURE; I WILL BE MUCH QUICKER ABOUT SWITCHING LOC FREQUENCIES AND MAINTAINING SITUATIONAL AWARENESS. ALWAYS MAINTAIN SITUATIONAL AWARENESS AND ANTICIPATE APCH AND RWY CHANGES.
