Narrative:
Approximately 1 hour from destination; we got an emergency buss fail message. We checked the QRH and it stated; in short; to land at the nearest suitable airport. We were still at cruise altitude; so once reviewed; we determined ZZZ to be the nearest suitable airport. From our altitude; we had to start down right away; so we informed center of our need to divert; and they gave us our arrival into ZZZ.
