Narrative:
On 2 separate flts. After 1 hour in flight I heard an unusual high pitch sound; as well as a strong vibration on the floor between the lavatories by 4L. I remained in contact with the cockpit as they attempted to isolate the cause of the vibration/sound. Captain was unsure nor certain as to the origin and possible consequences and elected to return to ZZZ. Return flying time: 1 hour.
