Narrative:

Maintenance control called and asked me to reissue (open) 2 MEL's on aircraft X that had been closed in error in MEL xx-1 and MEL yy-1. In applying the MEL's I thought that I should make sure that there were no special procedures that needed to be applied. I looked in the MEL book and mistakenly thought that the special procedures for MEL xx-2 were for MEL xx-1. I pulled and collared the circuit breakers for GPWS F20 and G20 on the east panel. About an hour into the flight I rechked the MEL book (intuition) and realized that I had pulled circuit breakers and they shouldn't have been. I immediately called maintenance control and informed them of my mistake.

Narrative: MAINT CTL CALLED AND ASKED ME TO REISSUE (OPEN) 2 MEL'S ON ACFT X THAT HAD BEEN CLOSED IN ERROR IN MEL XX-1 AND MEL YY-1. IN APPLYING THE MEL'S I THOUGHT THAT I SHOULD MAKE SURE THAT THERE WERE NO SPECIAL PROCS THAT NEEDED TO BE APPLIED. I LOOKED IN THE MEL BOOK AND MISTAKENLY THOUGHT THAT THE SPECIAL PROCS FOR MEL XX-2 WERE FOR MEL XX-1. I PULLED AND COLLARED THE CIRCUIT BREAKERS FOR GPWS F20 AND G20 ON THE E PANEL. ABOUT AN HR INTO THE FLT I RECHKED THE MEL BOOK (INTUITION) AND REALIZED THAT I HAD PULLED CIRCUIT BREAKERS AND THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED MAINT CTL AND INFORMED THEM OF MY MISTAKE.
