Narrative:

Left main tire blew on landing due to brake locking. Aircraft was parked and not movable in runway overrun. At XA30 the class D airport was operating as class G and local traffic was advised of a disabled aircraft on the runway overrun. Contacted local FBO; but services unavailable at airport to move aircraft. Returned at XF00 to continue to advise local traffic and seek assistance in moving aircraft. Advised tower and airport management staff when they arrived (approximately XG30) and before the airport opened of the situation. Airport opening was delayed 30 mins while equipment was arranged to tow aircraft. Left main tire was replaced and aircraft returned to service. Additional actions that could have increased safety -- FSS could have been contacted to advise pilots operating in the class G airspace/airport that an aircraft was on the overrun between the hours of XB00-XF00.
