Given clearance to descend via the civet arrival delete speed restr. At waypoint taroc approach queried if we were correcting to runway 24R. We planned; flew and believed we heard cleared runway 25L. Approach gave us a vector to intercept runway 24R. Approach and landing normal.

Title: A B737 FLT CREW DEVIATED FROM THE ATC EXPECTED CIVET ARR TRACK WHEN THEIR RWY ASSIGNMENT WAS DIFFERENT THAN WHAT THEY BELIEVED THEY WERE CLRED TO.
Narrative: GIVEN CLRNC TO DSND VIA THE CIVET ARR DELETE SPEED RESTR. AT WAYPOINT TAROC APCH QUERIED IF WE WERE CORRECTING TO RWY 24R. WE PLANNED; FLEW AND BELIEVED WE HEARD CLEARED RWY 25L. APCH GAVE US A VECTOR TO INTERCEPT RWY 24R. APCH AND LNDG NORMAL.
