Narrative:

Obtained a briefing and flight departed from the airport with full fuel; 2 adults; 2 children; and 50 pounds of baggage for an overnight trip. Contacted approach 20 mi from the north. Entered the pattern for ZZZ at the 45 degree entry on the downwind. Set up for landing with full flaps. On final; was a little low so gave some power to clear the trees. Wind blew plane to the east and corrected to line up with the runway. After making the runway and clearing the trees; it felt as though the wind stopped and the bottom dropped out and the plane landed hard on the runway. Left wheel and nosewheel first and then right wheel. Plane was taxied off the runway and shut down. No passenger were injured. Plane tied down at ZZZ. Apparent damage: propeller strike; nosewheel and mounts.
