Narrative:
Missed the revised section on clearance with the 'terpz 1.' departed bwi; transferred from tower to departure control. Instructed to fly direct to terpz. Explained we are unable due to terpz not in database. Controller then said to fly 300 degrees; climb to 17000 ft vectors to eytee.

Title: A PLT RPTS THAT A WAYPOINT ON THEIR SID WAS NOT IN THE DATABASE AND THEREFORE THEY WERE UNABLE TO COMPLY WITH AN INITIAL AIRBORNE CLRNC.
Narrative: MISSED THE REVISED SECTION ON CLRNC WITH THE 'TERPZ 1.' DEPARTED BWI; TRANSFERRED FROM TOWER TO DEP CTL. INSTRUCTED TO FLY DIRECT TO TERPZ. EXPLAINED WE ARE UNABLE DUE TO TERPZ NOT IN DATABASE. CTLR THEN SAID TO FLY 300 DEGS; CLB TO 17000 FT VECTORS TO EYTEE.
