Narrative:

Taxiing out in miami; ground control cleared us to taxi to runway 30. Captain chose to taxi via taxiway Q; paralleling runway 30. As we approached the hold short line for runway 27/30; tower cleared us for takeoff with a heading of 305 degrees. The captain initiated the turn onto runway 27 and xferred control of the aircraft to me and said take it on the roll. I pushed up the throttles while in the turn. I crosschecked the runway on the navigation display and noted that it wasn't aligned with the aircraft but realized that I was still in a turn to line up and dismissed that information. Before the throttles reached the climb detent; we noticed men and equipment with flashing yellow lights on the side of the runway. Simultaneously; tower called telling us that we were on runway 27. I immediately pulled the power back to idle and the captain took control; bringing the airplane to a stop. Speed didn't exceed more than a fast run and we stopped the aircraft prior to reaching the runway 27/30 intersection. Tower then cleared us to taxi off of runway 27 at taxiway T5. We followed his instructions and continued back to runway 30. We were cleared for takeoff and departed normally. Contributing factors: it was dark outside. Runways 27 and 30 both start at taxiway Q. Takeoff was rolling. I accepted xfer of control on the roll. Short taxi. Runway lights on runway 27. Runway 27 was closed but lighted X not placed on runway. Taxiway Q parallels runway 30. As we taxied out we noted that runway 30 was immediately to our right so we both subconsciously noted that and turned hard right onto the runway when cleared for takeoff.

Title: A320 FLT CREW MISTAKES RWY 27 FOR RWY 30 AT MIA AND BEGIN TKOF ROLL. LCL CTLR CANCELS TKOF CLRNC.

Narrative: TAXIING OUT IN MIAMI; GND CTL CLRED US TO TAXI TO RWY 30. CAPT CHOSE TO TAXI VIA TXWY Q; PARALLELING RWY 30. AS WE APCHED THE HOLD SHORT LINE FOR RWY 27/30; TWR CLRED US FOR TKOF WITH A HDG OF 305 DEGS. THE CAPT INITIATED THE TURN ONTO RWY 27 AND XFERRED CTL OF THE ACFT TO ME AND SAID TAKE IT ON THE ROLL. I PUSHED UP THE THROTTLES WHILE IN THE TURN. I XCHKED THE RWY ON THE NAV DISPLAY AND NOTED THAT IT WASN'T ALIGNED WITH THE ACFT BUT REALIZED THAT I WAS STILL IN A TURN TO LINE UP AND DISMISSED THAT INFO. BEFORE THE THROTTLES REACHED THE CLB DETENT; WE NOTICED MEN AND EQUIP WITH FLASHING YELLOW LIGHTS ON THE SIDE OF THE RWY. SIMULTANEOUSLY; TWR CALLED TELLING US THAT WE WERE ON RWY 27. I IMMEDIATELY PULLED THE PWR BACK TO IDLE AND THE CAPT TOOK CTL; BRINGING THE AIRPLANE TO A STOP. SPD DIDN'T EXCEED MORE THAN A FAST RUN AND WE STOPPED THE ACFT PRIOR TO REACHING THE RWY 27/30 INTXN. TWR THEN CLRED US TO TAXI OFF OF RWY 27 AT TXWY T5. WE FOLLOWED HIS INSTRUCTIONS AND CONTINUED BACK TO RWY 30. WE WERE CLRED FOR TKOF AND DEPARTED NORMALLY. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS: IT WAS DARK OUTSIDE. RWYS 27 AND 30 BOTH START AT TXWY Q. TKOF WAS ROLLING. I ACCEPTED XFER OF CTL ON THE ROLL. SHORT TAXI. RWY LIGHTS ON RWY 27. RWY 27 WAS CLOSED BUT LIGHTED X NOT PLACED ON RWY. TXWY Q PARALLELS RWY 30. AS WE TAXIED OUT WE NOTED THAT RWY 30 WAS IMMEDIATELY TO OUR R SO WE BOTH SUBCONSCIOUSLY NOTED THAT AND TURNED HARD R ONTO THE RWY WHEN CLRED FOR TKOF.
