Narrative:

After takeoff from tix; experienced electrical failure. Was vectored to orl. Cleared for visual approach to runway 31. Tower cleared us to land runway 31 and then we lost communication. Had told approach that we intended to go to the FBO after landing. Landed short of intersecting runway 25. On continuing toward intersection; observed aircraft at the east end of runway 25 and did not want to cross this runway. Did a 180 degrees on runway 31 to taxiway D in front of the tower to runway 25. Looked for traffic on runway 25. Aircraft was clearing runway 25 onto taxiway A5. We crossed runway 25 behind the traffic in order to go to the FBO. I should have landed long on runway 31 to cross runway 25 so as to be able to access taxiway a. However since I was full stop before the intersection; I chose not to enter a runway that had another aircraft.

Title: FOLLOWING AN ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FAILURE AND SUBSEQUENT LOSS OF COM WHEN THE BATTERY WAS DEPLETED; C177 PLT LANDS AT ORL AND CREATES A RWY INCURSION AFTER LNDG.

Narrative: AFTER TKOF FROM TIX; EXPERIENCED ELECTRICAL FAILURE. WAS VECTORED TO ORL. CLRED FOR VISUAL APCH TO RWY 31. TWR CLRED US TO LAND RWY 31 AND THEN WE LOST COM. HAD TOLD APCH THAT WE INTENDED TO GO TO THE FBO AFTER LNDG. LANDED SHORT OF INTERSECTING RWY 25. ON CONTINUING TOWARD INTXN; OBSERVED ACFT AT THE E END OF RWY 25 AND DID NOT WANT TO CROSS THIS RWY. DID A 180 DEGS ON RWY 31 TO TXWY D IN FRONT OF THE TWR TO RWY 25. LOOKED FOR TFC ON RWY 25. ACFT WAS CLRING RWY 25 ONTO TXWY A5. WE CROSSED RWY 25 BEHIND THE TFC IN ORDER TO GO TO THE FBO. I SHOULD HAVE LANDED LONG ON RWY 31 TO CROSS RWY 25 SO AS TO BE ABLE TO ACCESS TXWY A. HOWEVER SINCE I WAS FULL STOP BEFORE THE INTXN; I CHOSE NOT TO ENTER A RWY THAT HAD ANOTHER ACFT.
