Narrative:

Departing jfk via canarsie climb off runway 31L (after departure clearance was for canarsie climb then radar vectors champ intersection). Takeoff at 400 ft began turn direct cri; turned past cri (which was approximately 250 degree heading) and rolled out on approximately 150 degree heading direct to champ intersection. ATC noticed aircraft track and asked for heading. At that time I realized we were heading direct champ and basically cut out the entire departure procedure involving cri. I initially briefed departure procedure during preflight; however; with ground delays; taxi time; more than 2 hours had passed since my briefing. I should have revisited the departure plate; rebriefed prior to taking the runway. ATC notified us to fly a heading of 130 degrees and climb to 7000 ft. No traffic conflicts occurred as a result.

Title: TRACK DEV ON THE KENNEDY 1 DEP WITH THE CANARSIE CLB.

Narrative: DEPARTING JFK VIA CANARSIE CLB OFF RWY 31L (AFTER DEP CLRNC WAS FOR CANARSIE CLB THEN RADAR VECTORS CHAMP INTXN). TKOF AT 400 FT BEGAN TURN DIRECT CRI; TURNED PAST CRI (WHICH WAS APPROX 250 DEG HDG) AND ROLLED OUT ON APPROX 150 DEG HDG DIRECT TO CHAMP INTXN. ATC NOTICED ACFT TRACK AND ASKED FOR HDG. AT THAT TIME I REALIZED WE WERE HEADING DIRECT CHAMP AND BASICALLY CUT OUT THE ENTIRE DEP PROC INVOLVING CRI. I INITIALLY BRIEFED DEP PROC DURING PREFLT; HOWEVER; WITH GND DELAYS; TAXI TIME; MORE THAN 2 HRS HAD PASSED SINCE MY BRIEFING. I SHOULD HAVE REVISITED THE DEP PLATE; REBRIEFED PRIOR TO TAKING THE RWY. ATC NOTIFIED US TO FLY A HDG OF 130 DEGS AND CLB TO 7000 FT. NO TFC CONFLICTS OCCURRED AS A RESULT.
