Narrative:
Burbank area socal TRACON requires minimum 10 certified controllers. Forced to handle traffic with 6 certified controllers until XA00. Required me to work 2 or 3 sectors at once without assistance. Normally; all sectors would have been open during this time. This is a very dangerous situation which could have easily resulted in a lack of proper separation between aircraft. I felt very uneasy the entire 4 hours.

Title: SCT CTLR VOICED CONCERN REGARDING SHIFT STAFFING WHEN CTLR NUMBERS WERE FAR BELOW FAC REQUIREMENTS; CITING SAFETY AS A CONCERN.
Narrative: BURBANK AREA SOCAL TRACON REQUIRES MINIMUM 10 CERTIFIED CTLRS. FORCED TO HANDLE TFC WITH 6 CERTIFIED CTLRS UNTIL XA00. REQUIRED ME TO WORK 2 OR 3 SECTORS AT ONCE WITHOUT ASSISTANCE. NORMALLY; ALL SECTORS WOULD HAVE BEEN OPEN DURING THIS TIME. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION WHICH COULD HAVE EASILY RESULTED IN A LACK OF PROPER SEPARATION BTWN ACFT. I FELT VERY UNEASY THE ENTIRE 4 HRS.
