Narrative:

I was holding short of runway 27 while I observed the takeoff roll of an airbus A320. Shortly after he started his takeoff roll I noticed smoke coming from the nosewheel. I observed the nosewheel to be at what appeared to be maximum right turn; approximately 75 degrees to the right. After the airbus aborted takeoff I relayed this information over the tower frequency. I was only an observer to the event but felt my observations may be significant for the investigation.
