Narrative:

Working sat position. It was busy. I had 2 IFR arrs into vgt in from the east. Also 3 IFR inbound to las left base and 1 coming from the south also IFR that was a lifeguard. The tmu came over and asked me if we could release a runway 7 departure. I said I didn't think we had enough room to make it work. As the lifeguard approached the runway 25 numbers for a left downwind; I yelled out I don't want the runway 1 departure released; it wasn't going to work. At that time the tower called down and said that the air carrier was rolling. I had to vector 6 airplanes out of the way; including a lifeguard; in order to avoid having a deal. In the process; I probably had an airspace deviation.
