On climb out 'flaps fail' caution from 20 degrees to 8 degrees. They were stuck at 20 degrees. We notified departure and asked for a couple of mins to run checks before landing back at ZZZ. QRH followed and normal checklists completed. Overweight landing at about 47500 pounds. Before approach; confirmed landing distance with company and fsm. Maintenance was notified.
