Narrative:

Nrc (non-routine card) issued for B/C check to right/right skate angle per engineering authority/authorized due to fasteners pulling through. Nrc stated that part must be repaired before flight. Called maintenance control team lead to inform him that we did not have the correct part to repair aircraft. At the time we agreed to carry card due to lack of parts. At this point I'm unsure if we agreed to do the inspection and I forgot to document it or if I missed the inspection requirement altogether. It was later brought to my attention that there was a question in the line as to if the inspection was done or not.
