Narrative:
Taxi out from gate at lbb to runway 26. Looked at chart; went down taxiway right; planned right turn on taxiway hotel. Was advised by ground control that I am on a non-air carrier taxiway but can continue on it to runway 26 or exit at next intersection. I did exit and continued to runway 26. Taxiway looked like others on commercial chart and also looks as wide and friendly like other txwys when I went rolling down it. Was told by ATC that this has happened before and will happen again. I believe that something other than the fine print on the commercial chart might correct this error from happening in the future. A smaller width or use of X's would help. The depiction on the commercial chart and the taxiway width with normal signage can be misleading. In the future I will spend more time reading the fine print.
