Narrative:

Captain's leg from oak to phx. We were given skyline 3 departure off runway 29 at oak. When we checked in to departure control at about 2500 ft he informed us of the 2000 ft maximum till 4 DME; he then cleared us to 10000 ft. I don't think there were any traffic conflicts. The commercial chart supplier text for the skyline 3 runway 29 is very deceiving because below where (runways 27L/right; 29) is listed it gives all the altitude restrs except the 2000 ft maximum at 4 DME. This is listed above where it appears at first look that the D4 oak maximum 2000 ft is for runways 9L/right; 11. Lesson learned to read very carefully all texts.

Title: A300 FLT CREW FAILS TO MAINTAIN 2000 FT MSL TO 4 DME ON THE SKYLINE SID FROM RWY 29 AT OAK.

Narrative: CAPT'S LEG FROM OAK TO PHX. WE WERE GIVEN SKYLINE 3 DEP OFF RWY 29 AT OAK. WHEN WE CHKED IN TO DEP CTL AT ABOUT 2500 FT HE INFORMED US OF THE 2000 FT MAX TILL 4 DME; HE THEN CLRED US TO 10000 FT. I DON'T THINK THERE WERE ANY TFC CONFLICTS. THE COMMERCIAL CHART SUPPLIER TEXT FOR THE SKYLINE 3 RWY 29 IS VERY DECEIVING BECAUSE BELOW WHERE (RWYS 27L/R; 29) IS LISTED IT GIVES ALL THE ALT RESTRS EXCEPT THE 2000 FT MAX AT 4 DME. THIS IS LISTED ABOVE WHERE IT APPEARS AT FIRST LOOK THAT THE D4 OAK MAX 2000 FT IS FOR RWYS 9L/R; 11. LESSON LEARNED TO READ VERY CAREFULLY ALL TEXTS.
