Narrative:

Approximately 1 hour out of ZZZZ; the aircraft was put into a sharp; rapid descent to below 10000 ft of altitude. (Captain was trying to prevent oxygen mask deployment.) no masks dropped. Captain's announcement informed us of the loss of our one remaining 'air pack' (we were flying with only one in operation) and that we would be diverting to ZZZZ1 for repairs or replacement. We landed without evacing. Passenger and crew cleared customs and immigration in ZZZZ1. Maintenance in ZZZZ1 replaced and tested the air pack.
