Narrative:

Told to hold at brokk at FL370 as published. Captain set it up in the FMS and we reported in the hold; captain talked to passenger and flight attendants and I (first officer) pulled up WX for jfk and alternates. I noticed the bank as only about 8 degrees and about that time ZOB told us to turn right to 320 degrees and said we were 50 mi from the hold. We were only 25 mi from brokk but in a very wide pattern. We flew the rest of the pattern on heading and not the FMS. The next flight behind us was also off course. I believe that at that altitude (FL370) and with a 150 KT tailwind the FMS could not keep up. We should have done it manually; but were distraction by other tasks.
