Narrative:

During accomplishment of inspection per 'si' (frame inspection on forward cargo door aft frame); a repair was found installed on the aft frame of the forward cargo cutout outboard end. The repair was installed per srm with single doubler. Does not address the inspection procedures for this type of repair. Issued to perform alternate inspection procedure at discrepant location; which will be accomplished at 4000 cycles intervals. Due to lack of awareness of airworthiness directive; the inspection; the repair should be submitted to boeing for alternate inspection procedures.

Title: A B737-300 FORWARD CARGO DOOR FRAME CUT OUT HAD A DOUBLER REPAIR PER THE SRM. MANUAL DID NOT ADDRESS METHOD OF REPETITIVE INSPECTION OF FRAME PER AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE.
