Narrative:

After troubleshooting an unsafe gear indication; we flew by the tower for a visual check. All indications were the gear was down but no indicator light. We had manually extended them also; still no light. Normal; smooth landing and while on rollout the gear collapsed. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter had a great deal of experience with this type aircraft and everything was tried to get a safe gear indication; to no avail. Damage was confined almost exclusively to the propellers and engines due to the fact that the tires protrude when fully retracted.
