Narrative:

First flight attendant called the cockpit at 5000 ft on climb out to say he had an electrical burning smell in the cabin. In summary; the flight attendants called a few times with reports of intermittent odor and sometimes even mist; however; I could not get them to confirm any of the 'reports' as they were being relayed via the back to the first flight attendant. I was looking for 'any' confirmation in order to return to ZZZ1. Instead; I was getting calls that 'the passengers in the middle of the cabin are really worried; etc. (Useless information.)' I sent the first officer back and he reported nothing unusual. In hindsight; I feel the flight attendants were predisposed to imagine something because of an electrical problem on their control panel repaired before takeoff; and the three guys fed off their own excitement. I had the fire department meet the plane at the gate in ZZZ2; deplaned normally; and had them inspect it. All they found using their sensor was a hot oven in the back and some smell out of the 'clean' oven.718864 syn
