Narrative:

Upon our crew change; we discovered one of the fire loops #1 engine would not test. Called maintenance. Had multiple other distrs and minor issues to deal with. MEL 26-2 was issued and logged. Soon after takeoff I realized I had forgotten to amend the release with dispatch.
