Narrative:

Working l-hand land gear fixed strut outboard bushings. Bushings were sized and given to dock for installation. Was called back to dock to address fit of fixed strut bolt outboard end. At end of my shift I was told bushing would be removed and re-made. As I was leaving for home; lead technician brought paperwork over and informed me that strut was installed with no problems. I then signed off pattern card bushing dims. Based on information received. On way home I realized I should not have signed pattern card without checking dims myself.
