Narrative:

Between XA21-XB50 pm; oct/mon/06; approximately 90% of atlanta inbounds did not update or post in uret (used now instead of strips). We were unable to use uret for its functions; probe; conflicts; wrong rtes; etc. After aircraft was handed off from previous sectors; the uret then updated. This has been reported numerous times to supervisors and dr's have been filed to the uret board. It is unknown why this only happens sometimes and not others; I personally worked this same sector another time without any discrepancies at all. Why at XB50 something had reset or rippled the uret list and it was working fine once again.
