Narrative:

We were instructed to contact tower for taxi clearance. We were cleared to taxi to runway 32 from the south GA ramp via taxiway C and taxiway K; hold short of runway 7R and runway 7L. We were holding short of runway 7R and received further clearance to cross runway 7R and runway 7L. After crossing runway 7R and just about to cross runway 7L the controller issued a change in the clearance. 'XXX; I tell you what; turn left there on runway 7L and taxi for the full length runway 32; caution wake turbulence B747.' we turned left and taxied on runway 7L and then turned right to line up on runway 32. We were cleared for takeoff and departed the runway without further ado. Later we were instructed to call the tower and when we did the tower controller informed us that we took the runway without clearance. The tower did not do us any favors this night and from what I've discovered from reading about this airport on the internet they have a problem with runway 32's threshold being located on runway 7L. Supplemental information from acn 714434: we never obtained visual reference of any hold short lines on runway 7L and in our best judgement the position of the aircraft at the time of takeoff clearance was east of the edge of runway 32; not on runway 32. We had out our airport diagram which does not show any hold short lines on runway 7L. Aerial view of runway 7L shows the hold short lines to be blacked out by tire marks.

Title: CL604 FLT CREW HAS A RWY INCURSION AT ANC.

Narrative: WE WERE INSTRUCTED TO CONTACT TWR FOR TAXI CLRNC. WE WERE CLRED TO TAXI TO RWY 32 FROM THE S GA RAMP VIA TXWY C AND TXWY K; HOLD SHORT OF RWY 7R AND RWY 7L. WE WERE HOLDING SHORT OF RWY 7R AND RECEIVED FURTHER CLRNC TO CROSS RWY 7R AND RWY 7L. AFTER XING RWY 7R AND JUST ABOUT TO CROSS RWY 7L THE CTLR ISSUED A CHANGE IN THE CLRNC. 'XXX; I TELL YOU WHAT; TURN L THERE ON RWY 7L AND TAXI FOR THE FULL LENGTH RWY 32; CAUTION WAKE TURB B747.' WE TURNED L AND TAXIED ON RWY 7L AND THEN TURNED R TO LINE UP ON RWY 32. WE WERE CLRED FOR TKOF AND DEPARTED THE RWY WITHOUT FURTHER ADO. LATER WE WERE INSTRUCTED TO CALL THE TWR AND WHEN WE DID THE TWR CTLR INFORMED US THAT WE TOOK THE RWY WITHOUT CLRNC. THE TWR DID NOT DO US ANY FAVORS THIS NIGHT AND FROM WHAT I'VE DISCOVERED FROM READING ABOUT THIS ARPT ON THE INTERNET THEY HAVE A PROB WITH RWY 32'S THRESHOLD BEING LOCATED ON RWY 7L. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 714434: WE NEVER OBTAINED VISUAL REF OF ANY HOLD SHORT LINES ON RWY 7L AND IN OUR BEST JUDGEMENT THE POS OF THE ACFT AT THE TIME OF TKOF CLRNC WAS E OF THE EDGE OF RWY 32; NOT ON RWY 32. WE HAD OUT OUR ARPT DIAGRAM WHICH DOES NOT SHOW ANY HOLD SHORT LINES ON RWY 7L. AERIAL VIEW OF RWY 7L SHOWS THE HOLD SHORT LINES TO BE BLACKED OUT BY TIRE MARKS.
