Narrative:
After takeoff on runway 31L from jfk we tracked left of our course on the kennedy one departure. We were given a vector to reintercept the departure by new york departure. In the confusion we exceeded 250 KIAS below 10000 ft; but we corrected immediately.

Narrative: AFTER TKOF ON RWY 31L FROM JFK WE TRACKED L OF OUR COURSE ON THE KENNEDY ONE DEP. WE WERE GIVEN A VECTOR TO REINTERCEPT THE DEP BY NEW YORK DEP. IN THE CONFUSION WE EXCEEDED 250 KIAS BELOW 10000 FT; BUT WE CORRECTED IMMEDIATELY.
